What we handle at the roadside
- Flat tire repair on the spot for nails, screws and slow leaks (more on flat repairs)
- Spare tire installs, full-size or temporary, when a tire can't be saved
- Blowouts and shredded tires: we get the damaged tire off and your spare on
- Dead battery boosts if the car won't start (battery boost)
Most roadside tire problems don't need a tow truck. Fixing it where you are is usually faster, and you drive away in your own car.
Stay safe while you wait
On a highway? Pull as far onto the shoulder as you safely can, turn on your hazard lights, and stay in your vehicle with your seatbelt on. Don't try to change a tire beside live traffic.
- Get off the road or into a parking lot if you can do it safely at low speed
- Turn on your hazards and, at night, keep your interior light on
- Note the nearest exit, cross street or landmark and your direction of travel
- If you ever feel unsafe or there's a collision, call 911 first
