Can my flat tire be repaired?
Most punctures in the tread area from nails and screws can be repaired safely. A tire usually can't be repaired safely when:
- The damage is in the sidewall or shoulder of the tire
- The hole is too large, or there are several punctures close together
- The tire was driven on flat and the inside is damaged
If it can't be fixed, we'll tell you straight and install your spare so you're not stuck. We'd rather be honest than put you back on the road on an unsafe repair.
Don't drive on a flat. Even a short distance can destroy the tire and bend the rim, turning a simple repair into a new tire. Pull over somewhere safe and call us.
